Butler will face off against Boise State in the College Basketball Crown Tournament on Wednesday night in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Boise State (25-10) showed no signs of rust against George Washington in their first game in two weeks. Meanwhile, Butler (15-19) beat Utah in the final seconds of its first round matchup. The teams will play at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in a quarterfinal matchup in the inaugural College Basketball Crown tournament.

The Broncos are the only entry from the Mountain West Conference in the field, while the Bulldogs were one of four teams from the Big East to enter the 16-team event.
Boise State erupted for 57 second-half points against George Washington in an 89-59 blowout. Tyson Degenhart led the team with 19 points, Pearson Carmichael tallied 15 points and six steals, and Andrew Meadow also scored 15 points. Degenhart averages 18.0 points and 6.0 boards, with Meadow dropping 12.5 points per game and Alvaro Cardenas posting 11.5 points and 6.9 assists per outing.
Pierre Brooks II scored on a drive with three seconds left, as Butler recovered from blowing a late 11-point lead to beat Utah 86-84 on Monday. Brooks finished with 22 points, while Finley Bizjack added 16 in the win. Patrick McCaffery scores 11.1 points a night, and Andre Screen averages 7.9 points and 6.0 rebounds.
