Coastal Carolina might be the hottest team in the country right now. The team is 53-11 on the year and has won 23 consecutive games, including every postseason game so far. In the NCAA Conway Regional, they beat Fairfield 10-2, then defeated East Carolina 18-7 and 1-0, advancing to the Super Regional against Auburn. Coastal Carolina won those matchups 7-6 and 4-1, sending them to the College World Series.
Arizona is 44-19 on the season. The team swept the Eugene Regional, beating Cal Poly 3-2 and Utah Valley 14-4 before taking down Cal Poly 14-0 in the rematch. In the Super Regional, the Wildcats lost 18-2 in the opener against North Carolina but bounced back with a 10-8 win and a 4-3 win to advance to the College World Series.
