Vegas has won five consecutive games to maintain its lead in the Pacific Division. The Golden Knights now have 93 points on a 43-20-8 pace. Nashville, on the other hand, is eliminated from playoff contention with only 62 points on a 27-37-8 pace. The Predators are 18-15-3 at home compared to 9-22-5 on the road this season. This is the second of three matchups between these two teams this season, with Nashville pulling off a 5-3 upset over Vegas back in January.

Most recently, the Golden Knights stayed hot with a 4-3 victory over the Blackhawks in Chicago on Friday night. Pavel Dorofeyev scored his 31st goal of the season on the power play in the third period to give Vegas the win. Victor Olofsson also scored in the third period for the Golden Knights.
As for Nashville, the Predators fell again to the Blues in a 3-2 loss to St. Louis in Nashville on Thursday night. The Preds raced out to a two-goal lead in the first period, but the red-hot Blues scored the final three goals of the game to steal a comeback win. Fedor Svechkov and Brady Skjei scored the goals in the loss for Nashville.
