Most recently, the Oilers saw their three-game winning streak snapped by the Jets in a 4-3 overtime loss in Edmonton on Thursday night. Kyle Connor scored 1:13 into overtime to lift Winnipeg to a victory. However, the real loss of the night was an injury to Conor McDavid. McDavid didn’t return for the third period with what’s being called a lower-body injury.

As for Seattle, the Kraken also fell in their last contest to the Wild by a final score of 4-0 in St. Paul on Wednesday night. Ryan Hartman, Matt Boldy, and Liam Ohgren scored three goals in the first period just one minute, 42 seconds apart to open a huge lead for Minnesota.

The Oiler now look to bounce back when they host the Kraken in Edmonton on Saturday.
