The second day of 2025 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series – Weekend 3 action at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, will begin with an afternoon game between Ohio State and Baylor.
The Buckeyes and Bears will kick things off at 3 p.m. Eastern, and their battle will be followed by Oregon State and Auburn at 6 p.m. EST.
The Amegy Bank College Baseball Series again is being held at GLF, home of the world champion Texas Rangers, as part of three exciting weekends of college baseball in Texas.
The schedule includes the Shriners Children’s College Showdown (Feb. 14-16), Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota Weekend 2 (Feb. 21-23) and Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota Weekend 3 (Feb. 28-March 2).
There also are a handful of midweek games on Feb. 18, Feb. 19, Feb. 26 and March 5.
Ohio State headed south to Arlington with a two-game losing streak and looking to turn things back around. OSU will play three games during the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota Weekend 3.
The Buckeyes are looking to improve on their 29-26 performance last season, which included a 12-12 effort in Big Ten play. That was good enough to finish in the middle of the conference standings and earn a spot in the Big Ten Baseball Tournament.
OSU advanced to the second round of the event but lost to Indiana and Nebraska to see the season come to an end.
Baylor started the 2025 season with six consecutive wins, before dropping an extra-inning contest to Gonzaga, 8-7 (10 innings).
The Bears then had one game to get back on track – a Feb. 25 meeting with Stephen F. Austin – before rolling into Arlington for games against Oregon State, Ohio State and Auburn.
Last season, Baylor was 22-31, including a 10-20 record in Big 12 play and a bottom-3 finish in the conference. The Bears did not advance to the 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship.
Baylor started its 2024 season at the Shriners Children’s College Showdown at Globe Life Field, posting an 0-3 record.

Where Is The 2025 College Baseball Showdown?
The Shriners Children’s College Showdown and two-weekend Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota are taking place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, and feature some of the top teams in the nation.
The 2025 season marks the fifth consecutive year of college baseball at Globe Life Field – home of the world champion Texas Rangers – and the second straight year the action spans three weekends.
When Is The College Baseball Showdown?
The first weekend of the festivities, the Shriners Children’s College Showdown, began Friday, Feb. 14 and ran through Feb. 16.
The following two weeks of action, the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series, were set for Feb. 21-23 and Feb. 28-March 2.
To keep the momentum going between the weekends, the series also includes four midweek games at Globe Life Field. Those contests are taking place Feb. 18, Feb. 19, Feb. 26 and March 5.
