USC (20-2, 10-1) plays host to Ohio State (20-2, 9-2) on Saturday night in one of the top women’s college basketball games of the week.
This is the first matchup of the two teams as conference rivals, though they faced off in November 2023 as non-conference foes, with the Trojans coming away with an 83-74 victory. Which team will take the win on Saturday night?

USC suffered its first conference loss last weekend, falling 76-69 to Iowa in the game where the Hawkeyes retired Caitlin Clark’s jersey. The Trojans bounced back against Wisconsin, winning 86-64 despite star guard JuJu Watkins shooting just 4-for-11 in the contest.
Kiki Iriafen led the way with 15 points on 6-for-11 shooting while the USC bench stepped up as well, with Avery Howell and Kayleigh Heckel both scoring in double figures. Heckel had 10 points, five assists, and three steals.
As for Ohio State, the Buckeyes just lost 65-52 to an undefeated UCLA team and will look to get back on track on Saturday in another top matchup.
In the loss to the Bruins, the Buckeyes shot 29.4% as the UCLA defense just wouldn’t give them easy looks. Jaloni Cambridge scored 21 points but on an inefficient 7-for-20 night from the floor. Cotie McMahon had 14 points on 6-for-15 shooting.
