Does Alex Rodriguez think Ohtani should get back into pitching?
Sports Seriously’s Mackenzie Salmon asks Alex Rodriguez about the Dodgers and Shohei Ohtani’s focus on hitting than pitching right now.

Shohei Ohtani will make his highly anticipated first pitching start for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night against the San Diego Padres.
Ohtani hasn’t pitched since Aug. 23, 2023, following a procedure to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow, his second surgery on that elbow.
Despite the precaution of limiting Ohtani to one or two innings, his unique two-way designation as an extra pitcher on the roster helps Los Angeles. His return to the mound comes at a time when the Dodgers are dealing with injuries, including those to pitchers Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow, who are both recovering from shoulder inflammation.
Here is how to watch the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Diego Padres on Monday.
