The Hoosiers have already had six players enter the transfer portal, including leading scorer and second-leading rebounder Malik Reneau. Sophomore forward Mackenzie Mgbako has entered the portal and also plans to put his name in for the NBA Draft after averaging 12.2 points and 4.6 rebounds. Point guard Myles Rice is another double-digit scorer who has entered the portal, scoring 10.1 points in 32 games (25 starts).
Additionally, big man Oumar Ballo and guard Trey Galloway are out of eligibility, while Luke Goode is appealing for a fifth year. This leaves Indiana with a thin roster, as Kanaan Carlyle, Dallas James and Bryson Tucker are the only scholarship players with remaining eligibility. However, West Virginia transfer Tucker DeVries is expected to join his father at Indiana after a shoulder injury forced him to miss nearly the entire 2024-25 campaign.
