LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) – Kansas women’s basketball announced the signing of Indiana transfer Lilly Meister on Monday for the 2025-25 season.
Meister is a senior, originally from Rochester, MN, who played her first three seasons with the Hoosiers.
The 6′3″ forward has played in 96 collegiate games, and started 17 in 2024-25.
Last season she averaged a career-best 6.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, shooting 51.8% from the field.
“We’ve had a relationship with Lilly dating back to her initial high school recruiting process,” head coach Brandon Schneider said. “Her size and skill set will fill a much-needed role in our program. She is a frontline player who will excel in the pick and roll game, while also providing shooting and versatility away from the rim. We believe that she pairs extremely well with both our returners and incoming players. Lilly brings experience competing at the highest level and being part of a winning culture is very important to her.”
This marks Kansas’ first transfer of the offseason, and she’ll join star returnee S’Mya Nichols, as well as the Jayhawks’ incoming high school recruiting class that is ranked No. 6 in the nation by ESPNW.
