Kelly Walsh’s basketball player, Kennedy Davila, will be staying close to home to continue her career as she has found a spot with the Casper College program. Davila was the Trojans’ point guard and shooting guard, averaging 12.7 points per game this past season. She had a 20-point game vs. Jackson and Rock Springs with 18-point efforts vs. Evanston and Star Valley. Davila also averaged 3 steals per game and was named All-State in 4A.
She was also an All-State performer in her junior year, averaging 13.2 points per game and 2.6 steals per contest. In the 2023-24 campaign, she had a season-high 22 points vs. Campbell County and 21 vs. Laramie and Sheridan.
Casper College went 28-7 last season and played in the National Junior College Basketball Tournament with a win over Salt Lake Community College and a loss to Wabash Valley, IL
