East Carolina baseball is in the right side of the bracket in the NCAA Tournament.
After opening the Conway Regional with an 11-6 win over Florida, the Pirates (34-25) are set to take on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (49-11) Saturday night in the winners bracket game. Saturday’s game is set to start at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
The Chanticleers got here after defeating the Stags in their opening game Friday night, 10-2.
It’s important to remember that the NCAA Baseball Tournament is double-elimination; whichever team loses this game is sent to an elimination game Sunday afternoon, while the winners automatically advance to the regional championship Sunday night.
