Follow along as the third-ranked Georgia Bulldogs take on the eleventh-ranked Auburn Tigers in game one of their weekend series.
Georgia looks to extend its win streak Friday evening against the Auburn Tigers. UGA has had one of the best offenses in college baseball to this point, leading the country in home runs with 74.
The Bulldogs swept the Florida Gators in Gainesville last weekend, scoring 40 runs and hitting 13 home runs. Christian Adams homered three times, Ryland Zaborowski homered twice, and Robbie Burnett homered twice.
Auburn holds a 20-5 record (4-2 in SEC) and is coming off a series win over Kentucky in Lexington. Auburn has been one of the stories of college baseball and will try to prove further that they are a contender this weekend in Athens.
First Inning:

Third Inning: (2-0)
Top: McMurray strikes out swinging. Steele doubles to left. Belyeu draws a walk. Rembert is hit by a pitch. Fralick strikes out swinging. Terrell pops out to second.
Bottom: Alford strikes out swinging. Burnett flies out to left. Zaborowski draws a walk. Adams grounds out to second.
Fourth Inning: Dan Jackson extends Georgia’s lead with a homer.
Top: Kolten Smith coming in to pitch for UGA. Fabian grounds out to short. Snow flies out to left. Irish is hit by a pitch. McMurray strikes out swinging.
Bottom: McCarthy is hit by the first pitch. Hunter lines out to center. Obee strikes out swinging. Jackson homers to left center (4-0). Kolby Branch hits a line drive off the pitcher’s leg and is thrown out at first. Pitcher looks to be okay.
Fifth Inning:
Top: Steele strikes out swinging. Belyeu strikes out swinging. Rembert grounds out to third.
Bottom: Alford singles to center. Burnett strikes out swinging. Zaborowski strikes out swinging. Adams flies out to right.
