The field for the 2025 College World Series is slowly whittling down.
Two more teams face elimination on June 17 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska, when Louisville and No. 8 Oregon State face off. Both teams have excelled in elimination games during the 2025 NCAA baseball tournament. The Cardinals are 2-0, while the Beavers are 6-0. Something will have to give.
These two have already squared off once in this CWS. Gavin Turley gave the Beavers a walk-off win in the bottom of the ninth inning on June 13, shortly after the Cardinals had evened the game at 3-3 in the top of the inning.
The winner will continue in the loser’s bracket with a chance to reach the championship series, while the loser will head home with its season over. OSU is coming off a 6-2 loss to Coastal Carolina in the winner’s bracket, while Louisville earned an 8-3 win over Arizona in an elimination game.

What time does Louisville vs Oregon State baseball start?
Louisville and Oregon State are scheduled for a 2:43 p.m. ET first pitch at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, in a CWS elimination game. First pitch was delayed nearly 45 minutes due to the conclusion of LSU vs UCLA after a postponement from June 16.
