LSU baseball is ready to square off with Coastal Carolina in the 2025 College World Series championship series, which gets underway Saturday night at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha.
This marks the ninth trip to the NCAA Baseball Tournament finals for the Tigers, where a win in the best-of-three series over the Chanticleers would be their eighth national championship.

LSU (51-15) has won all three of its games so far at the CWS, most recently a 6-5 ninth-inning rallying win over Arkansas Wednesday night. LSU star slugger Jared Jones had the game-winning RBI single to walk it off for the Tigers.
The Chants (56-11) are currently riding an impressive 26-game win streak, which is the longest in college baseball this season. In Omaha, Coastal has defeated Arizona, Oregon State and Louisville to reach the College World Series finals.
