The LSU Tigers are back on top of the college baseball rankings heading into the final weekend of the 2025 regular season.

D1Baseball and Baseball America both ranked the Tigers as the top team after taking two of three from top-10 SEC foe Arkansas inside Alex Box Stadium over the weekend. LSU won game 1 5-4 in extra innings, took game 2 13-3 in 7 innings, and then dropped the finale on Sunday 7-4 to the Razorbacks.

LSU is now topping the polls for the first time this season after starting #2 and falling as far as #8 in the standings, but has benefitted from two top-10 series wins to vault themselves to the top spot.

Texas fell out of the top spot after dropping a series for the second straight weekend, including a sweep to Arkansas. Florida State took the second spot, followed by the Longhorns, North Carolina, and Oregon.
