March Madness is in full swing and the second weekend of the women’s tournament begins on Friday with Sweet 16 action in Birmingham and Spokane. To tip things off, we have a Tobacco Road Rivalry matchup, the first of its kind in the NCAA tournament. As North Carolina coach Courtney Banghart said, “If that doesn’t get your blood going, you should check it.”
Later on in the day, No. 1 seeds South Carolina and UCLA will look to continue their dominant runs in the tournament, and No. 3 LSU takes on No. 2 NC State as the Tigers aim to make their mark.
