The NCAA tournament Final Four field is set.
No. 1 Texas and No. 2 UConn will join No. 1s South Carolina and UCLA in Tampa to decide the women’s basketball championship next weekend.
On Monday, Texas left little doubt in a suffocating defensive effort against Hailey Van Lith and No. 2 TCU. The Longhorns held the Horned Frogs to just 47 points on 12-of-45 shooting (26.7%).

Later, a JuJu Watkins-less USC team put up a valiant effort against No. 2 UConn, but the Trojans just couldn’t match the Huskies’ firepower without their injured star and the Huskies pulled away for a relatively easy win. Paige Bueckers scored 30+ points for the third straight game and freshman Sarah Strong dominated as well, finishing with 22 points and 17 rebounds.
