The Dallas Mavericks are raising season ticket prices after sparking a fan rebellion last month by trading star guard Luka Doncic.
Team leadership has faced protests since early February, when the Mavericks dealt Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, a Western Conference rival. Fans held protests and a mock funeral for the franchise outside its Dallas arena. A local brewery launched a “Sell the Team” IPA and one fan raised $50,000 for a billboard campaign against the team’s owners and general manager.
