Men’s College Basketball Best Bets, Odds, and Predictions for March Madness Elite Eight Games

Men’s College Basketball Best Bets:

now into the Elite Eight, and just over a week away from the season ending altogether. While this tournament hasn’t been a story of Cinderella, as we’ve seen in the past, it has been chock full of good basketball. With all number 1 and number 2 seeds – except for 3 seed Texas Tech – this is about as chalky of a tournament as we’ve seen in a while, but it’s not a bad thing that stars like Cooper Flagg and Johni Broome have advanced to this point of the tournament. I’m looking forward to it, and good ball aside, there’s certainly still room to try to make some money on these games, so let’s see what the T Shoe Index is predicting for these colossal matchups

Reminder on how to read the projections: If the spread is a positive number, that indicates the team on the left (Home, unless neutral site) is favored by TSI. If the spread is a negative, that indicates the team on the right (Away, unless neutral side) is favored by TSI. TSI total is the projected number of combined points in the game.

Here are my Elite Eight projections for Saturday and Sunday:

Team Team TSI Spread TSI Total
Florida Texas Tech 8.5 158.6
Duke Alabama 4.4 170.3
Houston Tennessee 3.6 121.9
Auburn Michigan State 1.6 149.5

Elite Eight Bets:

Saturday Bets:

Florida -6.5 (Play to -7.5)

Duke/Alabama Under 174.5 (Play to 173)

Sunday Bets:

Houston/Tennessee Under 123.5 or better

Michigan State +5.5 (Play to +4)
