Logan Cooley (USA, Utah Mammoth)
Utah Mammoth forward Cooley was the third overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft by the former Arizona Coyotes team, making his NHL debut in 2023. This past year, the 21-year-old played a big role for the Utah Mammoth – the club which replaced the Coyotes – finishing second on his team for points scored, even as they finished 11th in the West.
Cooley tallied 65 points including 25 goals from 75 games, and was one of nine players on the Mammoth (or Utah Hockey Club, as they were known as this season) to finish with a positive plus/minus rating over the season (+1).
Internationally, he will be making his first senior World Championship appearance. He played at two World Juniors for Team USA, winning bronze in 2023 when he scored seven goals and added seven assists in as many games.
