COLUMBUS, Ohio — Bryce Underwood has been with Michigan football fewer than two months, and he’s already taking shots at Ohio State.
While attending a recent game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, Underwood met NBA star and OSU fan LeBron James.
“We started talking, and then I said, ‘Before this all starts, just had to let you know, I go to Michigan,” Underwood shared while appearing on The Rich Eisen Show.
“Oh, yeah, yeah,” James responded, according to Underwood.
“It’s over for Ohio State,” Underwood told him.
Michigan has won four straight matchups in the rivalry, capped by a shocking win in Columbus last season — though the loss didn’t keep Ohio State from making a national title run.
The programs now enter a new era at quarterback.
Julian Sayin, a sophomore who spent last year playing behind Will Howard and Devin Brown, is the favorite to start for the Buckeyes.
Underwood, the nation’s No. 1 recruit in the 2024 signing class, is likely to compete with former Fresno State transfer Mikey Keene for the Wolverines’ starting spot.
Fanatics and Marvin Harrison Jr. settle legal dispute
A legal dispute between former Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and Fanatics has been discontinued, according to records filed with the New York Supreme Court on Thursday.
The news, which surfaced via a report from Darren Rovell of cllct.com, was later confirmed by a Fanatics spokesperson.
Details of the settlement were not revealed.
Licensed Harrison products are expected to be available for sale in the near future, Rovell reported.
