Miss America Abbie Stockard’s Photos From Auburn Cheerleader Days Go Viral in College Football Circuit

Alabama’s own Abbie Stockard is breaking the internet as this year’s Miss America, and honestly, she’s got everyone buzzing. She’s the fourth Miss Alabama to snag the crown, but it’s her Auburn cheerleader era that’s got fans spiraling. Those viral pics from her college sideline days are pure gold. Abbie’s electric energy lit up the Auburn football scene back then, and now it’s sparking major nostalgia across social media. It’s like seeing an iconic remix of a classic hit—fresh, vibrant, and impossible to ignore.

Well, it’s a big moment of honor for Auburn University that their all-rounder student and cheerleader, Abbie Stockard, won the title of Miss America 2025. At least she is the one bringing the title home because we all know how the Auburn Tigers’ season ended this year with seven losses. Looks like Abbie did some serious damage control for Auburn University last night by winning Miss America—that’s gotta be their biggest win of the year!

Abbie Stockard’s night at the Walt Disney Theater? Pure magic. After a fierce competition with 52 beauty representatives from across the U.S., Abbie emerged victorious, beating Texas’s Annette Addo-Yobo in the judges’ decision. The pageant was a spectacular display of talent, fitness, and evening wear. Now, after the judges narrowed it down to 11 semifinalists, Abbie stood out, proving she’s got the skills to win it all. It’s remarkable that even in such a competitive atmosphere, she came out on top. That’s no small feat, and Abbie absolutely nailed it.

Among the 11 semifinalists, only five advanced, and Abbie stood out with an astonishing talent performance. She amazed the audience with a contemporary dance set to a song by Christian artist Lauren Daigle, displaying her elegance and expertise. However, the true standout was her evening attire—a mesmerizing, backless silver and white gown that left everyone in awe.

Then came the decisive moment: the question round. When asked about unemployment, Abbie responded, “I believe we need to encourage those (people) to join the workforce, adapt to new skills, and learn to grow in our current workforce and industries we have today.” That powerful answer sealed the deal, and Abbie took home the title.

It’s not just about the title for Abbie. After her win, she said, “I don’t know what I did to deserve this.” That says it all. She’s incredibly humble and down-to-earth.

Her NBA star boyfriend, Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler, showered her with love after her win. He posted, “Congratulations Abbie! I’m so proud of you and everything you stand for. Your hard work and trust in the Lord has awarded you with this incredible opportunity! Use your light to shine on others around you! Love you.” Abbie gushed back, “You showing up last night meant the world to me,” expressing gratitude for their journey together. And it’s truly an epic journey for the new Miss America.

Abbie Stockard Slayin’ the game

Abbie Stockard is a perfect example of beauty with brains. The 22-year-old Auburn senior is chasing her nursing degree alongside her twin, Bradley, and plans to level up herself with a PhD in anesthesia. But it’s not just about the degree. Abbie’s all about making a difference in pediatrics; it’s not just inspiring but also motivating that you can be good at various things at a time. Abbie Stockard is all about balance. She’s crushing it in school and at work, and somehow still finds time for her passion: dancing.

She’s incredibly driven—a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and also part of the Tiger Paws dance/cheer team. That’s a lot of work, but she clearly loves it! It’s amazing to see someone so dedicated at her age. Her passion for dance runs deep. She started dancing at just two years old at the Jackie O’Neal School of Dance and later joined the Birmingham Dance Theater. Plus, she was a standout performer on her high school’s Rebelette dance team.

Growing up in the tight-knit community of Vestavia Hills, she’s always stayed connected to her roots. After taking a break from her studies for the last two years, she’s back at Auburn, not just hitting the books but also actively recruiting students for her university. This girl is all in one package. Like, name a thing that she can’t do.

Abbie Stockard may have danced her way through life, but going pro wasn’t on the cards. Moreover, in an interview with AL.com last July, she revealed that despite offers from the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, she had no interest in taking that route. Instead, Abbie set her sights higher. She shared how she felt “equipped with the skills” to take home the Miss America title. That’s what you call the power of manifestation and no wonder she made it through all of it!
