Missouri baseball is still searching for its first SEC win.
The Tigers’ next chance arrives against No. 7 Texas when a three-game series will begin Friday at Taylor Stadium in Columbia.
Missouri (9-14, 0-6 SEC) picked up a midweek, nonconference win by beating Illinois 11-9 on Tuesday in Champaign, Illinois.
But, the Tigers, coached by Kerrick Jackson, have been swept in two SEC series, dropping three straight at No. 8 LSU and failing to pick up a win over No. 15 Ole Miss last weekend in Columbia.
Texas (20-3, 5-1) swept Mississippi State on the road and won its home series with LSU, 2-1.
