
The Celtics are facing off with the Knicks in a playoff series for the first time in 12 years next week, and fans won’t have to stay up too late to watch the showdown. The NBA officially released the start times for the first two games of the series in Boston beginning Monday night, with Game 1 and 2 both having a 7 p.m. start time. Both games will be broadcast on TNT nationally, with Kevin Harlan and Reggie Miller on the call.
The start times for the remainder of the series remains TBD except for a potential Game 7 (8 p.m.) as the NBA awaits for two other first round series to come to a close in the Western Conference. The Nuggets and Rockets will face off in a Game 7 on Saturday night, while the Warriors and Rockets will have their Game 7 on Sunday night. The Cavaliers and Pacers Eastern Conference Semifinals will begin on Sunday with Game 1 tipping at 6 p.m. in Cleveland ahead of the Warriors-Rockets Game 7.

The Celtics will be coming off six full days of rest heading into the second round series after beating the Orlando Magic 4-1 in their first round series that wrapped up on Tuesday. The Knicks will have three days off before heading to Boston after beating the Pistons 4-2 in their series with a clincher on Thursday night in Detroit.
