After multiple returns to Creighton, this is finally the year in which Kalkbrenner takes his talents to the NBA. The four-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year is an absolute menace in the paint who dominated his conference season after season, and in addition to his prowess on the glass and in the shot-blocking realm, he also took a step forward this year from the field. The 34.4% clip from beyond the arc was a career-best and made the rangy, 7-foot-1 center a more prototypical NBA prospect.
