The Arizona Republic: Oregon will advance in NCAA baseball tournament
Jeremy Cluff wrote: “This regional has plenty of intrigue, and we expect former Pac-12 rivals Arizona and Oregon to face off in the regional championship as the top two seeds. Arizona and Oregon didn’t play each other in the regular season. The Ducks won two out of three against the Wildcats in their final series as conference rivals last season. Oregon won 11 in a row before falling in the Big Ten tournament to Nebraska. The Ducks will be able to slip past the Wildcats at home to make the Super Regionals.”

Doug Ziefel writes: “Oregon is legit. The Ducks took the Big Ten by storm, going 22-8 in conference play. Their upset loss to Nebraska was more of a fluke, and I expect them to bounce back strongly. Their ace, Grayson Grinsell, has been one of the best arms in the country, and he’s been supported by a bullpen that ranked ninth in ERA and seventh in WHIP. Oregon will be sizably favored against each team in this region, and it should cruise with no other club being as well-rounded.”
