The Super Regional field is set as 16 teams will battle it out this weekend for a spot in the College World Series.
Four of the Super Regionals will begin on Friday and conclude on Sunday. The other four will start on Saturday before wrapping up on Sunday. The NCAA announced first-pitch times and television designations for the first two games of all 8 Super Regionals on Tuesday.
Only four SEC teams made it to this stage of the tournament and only a maximum of three will be able to make to Omaha. That’s because Arkansas and Tennessee will meet in Fayetteville this weekend in a an SEC head-to-head matchup. Auburn and LSU are the other SEC teams who are still alive in this competition.
The ACC led all conferences with five Super Regional representatives: Miami, Louisville, North Carolina, Florida State and Duke.
