NCAA Division III Men’s College Basketball Rankings: Drama Into Last Games

As we head into the final week of the regular season, the five teams at the top all won last week to retain their spots on the mountain.

The only thing that changed is that UW-La Crosse and Randolph-Macon basketball have traded places. The Eagles are now at No. 4, and the Yellow Jackets are at No. 5.

Tufts and St. John’s squeezed into the top ten after major wins this past weekend, seeking to bridge the gap among other great teams.

Trine Men’s Basketball Continue To Slide

  • Another week of bad fortune for Trine, as it lost its last game of the regular season to No. 20 Calvin badly, 70-53.
  • With the loss, Trine finishes 21-4 overall, with two of those losses coming from Calvin, a fellow MIAA conference opponent.
  • Losing also snapped the Thunder’s four-game winning streak, as the Thunder were finally moving back up the rankings after dropping from No. 2 in late January.
  • This Friday is the beginning of the conference tournament for Trine.
