Anunoby logged 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 37 minutes during Monday’s 110-104 loss to the Cavaliers.

Anunoby was active on both ends of the floor Monday, taking a season-high 13 field-goal attempts. He also set season highs in steals and blocks in the loss. It’s been a relatively underwhelming start for both the Knicks and Anunoby, but he’ll eventually shoot better than 16.7 percent from distance.

Brunson supplied 21 points (8-24 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), three rebounds and seven assists over 38 minutes during Monday’s 110-104 loss to the Cavaliers.

Brunson survived a right knee scare during this game, forcing him to leave the court at one point. He returned for the fourth quarter, however, and seemed fine for the most part despite a cold shooting night. Through the first three games of the season, Brunson is averaging 23.0 points, 4.7 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 three-pointers.

Hart (ankle) hobbled back to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Monday’s game against the Cavaliers, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

With the game nearing its end, Hart is not expected to return. The 29-year-old is working through a right ankle injury he picked up during the Knicks‘ 123-98 win over the Pacers on Friday, and it seems to still be bothering him. Brunson checked back into Monday’s game against Cleveland with 11:01 remaining in the fourth quarter after heading back to the locker room with a knee injury, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.

Brunson was checked out by trainers after limping back to the locker room following a drive to the basket. He was stretching his right knee on the bench and was seen wearing a knee brace — which he has since taken off. The All-Star is expected to finish off the game after missing the majority of the third quarter.

Brunson appeared to be in discomfort after a drive to the basket. He was checked on by trainers and went back to the locker room, but he has returned to the bench and was seen working with elastic bands while sporting a wrap around his right knee. McBride (knee) is available for Monday’s game against Cleveland.

McBride hyperextended his knee during Friday’s win over the Pacers, though he will return Monday without missing any time. The 24-year-old has been incredible off the bench thus far, accumulating 30 points, four assists and two rebounds while shooting 78.6 percent from the field across 47 total minutes in two regular-season appearances.

McBride suffered a knee injury Friday against the Pacers. He was listed as probable for Monday’s contest, and unless he suffers a setback, he should be the Knicks‘ first guard off the bench behind starters Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby.
