NFL Combine Preview: Michigan Football players aim to boost draft stock

The NFL Scouting Combine is underway and team interviews are currently being held. Position groups will start their on-field workouts on Thursday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis with the workouts ending on Sunday afternoon.

Here’s a look at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine Schedule.

In all, nine Michigan Football players will be at the combine. Tight end Colston Loveland won’t be participating in drills as he’s recovering from surgery last month after suffering a Type V AC joint dislocation during the 2024 season. Here’s which Michigan players will be in Indy.

  • RB Donovan Edwards
  • RB Kalel Mullings
  • TE Colston Loveland
  • OL Myles Hinton
  • DL Kenneth Grant
  • DL Mason Graham
  • EDGE Josaiah Stewart
  • CB Will Johnson
  • LS William Wagner

Here’s what days Michigan players will have drills and testing.

Defensive linemen and linebackers (Kenneth Grant, Mason Graham, Josaiah Stewart) — Thursday, February 27 from 3 to 8 p.m. ET.

Defensive backs, tight ends (Will Johnson) — Friday, Feb. 28 from 3 to 9 p.m. ET

Quarterbacks, Running backs and Wide Receivers (Donovan Edwards, Kalel Mullings) — Saturday, March 1 from 1 to 9 p.m. ET

  • Offensive linemen (Myles Hinton) — Sunday, March 2 from 1 to 5 p.m. ET

Graham, Grant, Johnson, and Loveland are all expected to be drafted in the first round while Stewart is likely to be drafted in the third round or sooner. The rest of the draft-eligible players will be considered late-round fliers or undrafted free agents. The pre-draft process will be important for players such as Edwards, Mullings, and Hinton.
