NFL.com’s Eric Edholm released his big board of the top 100 prospects in the 2025 NFL draft last week and we are especially interested in the running backs who made the list.
After filling key needs at linebacker, safety and tight end during free agency, the Denver Broncos still need a running back. Fortunately, it’s a good year to search for a running back because this class is deep — Edholm has eight RBs on his top 100 big board.
No. 1 among RBs, of course, is Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty, who Edholm has ranked third overall. Unless they’re willing to trade up, the Broncos seem unlikely to land Jeanty.
Up next is UNC’s Omarion Hampton (No. 28), followed by Iowa’s Kaleb Johnson (No. 39) and Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson (No. 43). Denver’s first two picks are Nos. 20 and 51, so those three could be options at one of those two spots.
Ohio State’s Quinshon Judkins (No. 53) is next, followed by Tennessee’s Dylan Sampson (67), Arizona State‘s Cam Skattebo (No. 87) and UFC’s RJ Harvey (No. 91). The Broncos are scheduled to pick at No. 85 in the third round.
