January football! Only eight teams remain standing. Season-long fantasy football leagues are in the rearview mirror, but there are still lots of opportunities to get in on some action during the playoffs. Whether it be DFS, player props, the FFPC Playoff Challenge, or something else. As always, the purpose of this article is to help you make informed lineup decisions based on the weather forecast.

Dome Games (No Weather Impact)
One game during the Divisional Round will benefit from being played in a dome stadium, where the weather won’t affect the outcome. This indoor venue provides a consistent environment.

Minimal Weather Impact
These outdoor games during the Divisional Round don’t appear to have very many weather concerns.
Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs (Saturday, 1/18 at 4:30 p.m. ET)
It’s going to be frigid at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs play host to the Houston Texans. Last weekend, the Texans had the luxury of playing indoors in Houston. This week, it’s going to feel a whole lot different for C.J. Stroud and company.
The high temperature at kickoff will be around 25 degrees, but the winds will have it feeling closer to just 10 degrees. The forecast calls for sustained winds out of the northwest at 15 miles per hour (mph), with gusts reaching as high as 27 mph.
However, there’s a 0% chance of precipitation. The ball will feel like a rock, and with wind gusts approaching 30 mph, these teams might decide to go for it on fourth down instead of opting to kick a long field goal.
Whatever you do, do NOT count out Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in the playoffs.
Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills (Sunday, 1/19 at 6:30 p.m. ET)
It’ll be a cold one in Orchard Park, N.Y., when the Buffalo Bills play host to the Baltimore Ravens. But despite the cold (high temperature of around 20 degrees), it doesn’t appear as if it’ll be too windy and there’s a 0% chance of precipitation. So, it’ll be cold, but weather conditions shouldn’t have much of an impact on this one.
That being said, nobody wants to tackle the big dog, Derrick Henry, in cold temperatures. However, this game features an over/under of 51.5 points, so expect some fireworks from both offenses on Sunday night. That could mean some gaudy numbers for Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen.
Severe Weather Impact
This outdoor game in the Divisional Round could be impacted by weather conditions.
Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, 1/13 at 3:00 p.m. ET)
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. Well, maybe. It’s going to be a close call in South Philadelphia on Sunday, but it does appear as if there will be precipitation during the Rams vs. Eagles game. Temperatures are hovering right around freezing, so it’ll be interesting to see if it rains or snows.
As of now, they’re calling for moderate snow throughout the game, with up to five inches falling on Sunday. That’s typically good news for teams that dominate the trenches and have an elite run game. Advantage Philadelphia Eagles given their stout offensive line and All-Pro running back in Saquon Barkley.
Also, Matthew Stafford has played in three indoor environments throughout his career. University of Georgia (dome), Detroit (dome), and Los Angeles (dome). Much like Jared Goff, he’s much more accustomed to playing in climate-controlled environments. It could be very different for him in Philly on Sunday.
