We already can answer that question with a fair amount of certainty. According to The Athletic’s senior NFL insider Dianna Russini and NFL Draft expert Dane Brugler, the Tennessee Titans have been honing in on Miami quarterback Cam Ward since at least the NFL Scouting Combine in February, and their attraction to him only has grown over the past severa weeks since.
The Titans, for their part, seemed to tip their hand when they canceled private workouts with star Colorado duo Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders after meeting with Ward.
Ward was a Heisman Trophy finalist in December after a star turn in his only season at Miami, completing a rise from a zero-star prospect at FCS Incarnate Word with a stop at Washington State along the way. He is widely projected to go to Tennessee with the No. 1 overall pick, including in Brugler’s final mock draft.
