The NFL Draft is getting closer, with it being in just over a month in late April.
Free agency is nearing its conclusion, making team needs for the NFL draft a bit more clear. That makes now as great a time as ever to make a mock draft.
The top 10 is especially interesting this year in what feels like a weak draft class. For some teams, taking the best player available isn’t easy, as it isn’t really clear who that is.
That has made mock drafts this year difficult, as some teams may view certain players much more highly than other teams based on their team’s needs.
With all that being said, here is a mock draft for the top 10 in the 2025 NFL draft.

No. 1: Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward, QB, Miami
As time goes on, this pick seems more and more obvious. The real question isn’t necessarily who goes number one, but what team takes him.
As long as the Titans don’t trade down with someone like the New York Giants, they should take the best quarterback in this year’s draft class to replace Will Levis.
No. 2: Cleveland Browns – Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Based on rumors, it seems the Browns and Giants are interested in signing a veteran quarterback. That could mean whoever is left without a veteran takes Sanders.
The Giants are the more enticing situation, so for this mock, the Browns are left in more of a need at QB and take Sanders, the second-best quarterback in this year’s class, so they don’t have to rely on Kenny Pickett.
No. 3: New York Giants – Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn St.
The Giants coaches and front office are on the hot seat based on comments from owner John Mara, so they take arguably the best and safest pick in the draft.
Carter is the premier pass rusher in this class, which fills a role for the next most premium position after quarterback. They pass on Travis Hunter because they don’t have huge needs at receiver or corner, and the coaching staff doesn’t have time to figure out how to best use him.
No. 4: New England Patriots – Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
The Patriots select the other blue-chip prospect in the draft in Hunter, who while can play both corner and receiver, would likely play mostly at receiver for the Patriots given their giant hole at the position.
Hunter would become the go-to target for Drake Maye, and could also play some slot corner, forming arguably the best cornerback group in the NFL with Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis.

No. 5: Jacksonville Jaguars – Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Arguably the biggest need for the Jaguars is the interior defensive line, making Graham an obvious pick that has been one of the most common picks in mock drafts this offseason.
The Jaguars also consider offensive line, but Graham is probably the best player available who also happens to play the position they need the most.
No. 6: Las Vegas Raiders – Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise St.
The Raiders take the Heisman runner-up Jeanty two picks after the Heisman winner. Jeanty is a generational running back prospect whose only real downside is his competition from college.
The Raiders have a glaring hole at running back, and while they could also address receiver with Tetairoa McMillan, Jeanty is just too tantalizing to pass up.
No. 7: New York Jets – Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
The Jets help protect their new quarterback Justin Fields by adding the most athletic tackle in the draft.
Membou has skyrocketed up draft boards after an incredible combine performance, making him a nice right tackle of the future for the Jets to replace Morgan Moses.
No. 8: Carolina Panthers – Tyler Warren, TE, Penn St.
The Panthers already have a solid young receiving core and offensive line but have a big hole at tight end.
They helped out Bryce Young by selecting Warren, a player who was versatile and received a lot of schemed touches and college. He would bring a toughness and versatility the Panthers currently lack on offense.
No. 9: New Orleans Saints – Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The Saints have Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed already at wide receiver, but both had serious injuries last season.
The Saints have a lot of holes and not many ways to fill them, so drafting McMillan, likely the best player available, injects some excitement into their offense while they bide their time to replace Derek Carr at quarterback.
No. 10: Chicago Bears – Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Some draft experts view Campbell as a guard, but the Bears take him to be their left tackle of the future, the position he played exclusively in college.
The Bears already shored up their interior offensive line, and they also shore up the exterior with this pick, so Caleb Williams has more time to make good decisions and extend plays.
