NFL mock draft simulators: ESPN, Pro Football Focus, others split on No. 1 pick

The 2025 NFL draft begins next week. Starting Thursday, April 24, the next group of future NFL players will be selected to franchises across the league.

For the first time since the NFL expanded to its current format in 2002, all 32 teams own their first-round pick. That may change come draft night but it’s already set to be a historic evening for the league.

Miami quarterback Cam Ward is widely expected to go No. 1 overall to start off the draft. From there, things can go many different ways in the top 10 draft picks.

To get a look at all of the draft permutations, we took results from mock draft simulators from ESPN, Pro Football Focus, NFL Mock Draft Database, Pro Football Sports Network and NFL Draft Buzz. They weren’t able to agree on Ward at No. 1 nor the rest of the first 32 picks of the 2025 NFL draft.
