NFL Pro Bowler, Mississippi native holding youth football camp at Veterans Memorial Stadium

A Mississippi native and current NFL player is holding a camp for children this weekend.KhaDarel Hodge, 30, is a Pro Bowl wide receiver.He is scheduled to host a youth football camp Saturday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson.More than 250 kids between the ages of 6 and 13 signed up to participate in the camp. They will participate in drills, skills activities and games. Hodge is from Mendenhall and before going pro, played for Hinds Community College, Alcorn State University and Prairie View A&M in Texas.He now plays for the Atlanta Falcons after playing for the Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Rams.
