Wednesday NFL Christmas Day predictions, Dec. 25

Kansas City Chiefs vs Pittsburgh Steelers, 11 a.m., Netflix

The Steelers have lost two in a row and can’t afford a third if they want to take the AFC North title. Russell Wilson will come up big and Pittsburgh will edge Kansas City in a thriller.

Prediction: Steelers 24, Chiefs 20

Baltimore Ravens vs Houston Texans, 2:30 p.m., Netflix

If the NFL playoffs began today, these two teams would face off in the first round in Houston. We have to think that Baltimore would be favored in that game, as it is in this one. The Texans won’t be able to keep up with Lamar Jackson.

Prediction: Ravens 30, Texans 20

Thursday Night Football predictions, Dec. 26

Seattle Seahawks vs Chicago Bears, 6:15 p.m., Prime Video (stream on Amazon)

This is a must-win game for the Seahawks against a Bears team that has lost nine straight games. We just can’t pick the Bears to end that skid against Seattle.

Prediction: Seahawks 23, Bears 17

NFL playoff picture Week 17:Colts, Dolphins, Bengals, Buccaneers and Seahawks alive

Will Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens beat C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans on Christmas Day? Check out our NFL Week 17 picks and predictions for every game this week.

Saturday NFL football game predictions, Dec. 28

Los Angeles Chargers vs New England Patriots, 11 a.m., NFL Network (stream with FUBO)

The Chargers have the NFL’s best-scoring defense. The Patriots have one of the NFL’s worst-scoring offenses. Bad news for New England.

Prediction: Chargers 24, Patriots 13

Denver Broncos vs Cincinnati Bengals, 2:30 p.m., NFL Network (stream with FUBO)

The Bengals can still make the playoffs, but they have to beat the Broncos to have a chance. We expect a good game in Cincinnati, with Joe Burrow and company winning late.

Prediction: Bengals 27, Broncos 24

Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Rams, 6:15 p.m., NFL Network (stream with FUBO)

The Cardinals are relegated to trying to play spoiler against the Rams after being eliminated against the Panthers last week. The problem is, the Rams have won four straight and their defense could feast on Arizona’s offense.

Prediction: Rams 28, Cardinals 13

Sunday early NFL football game predictions, Dec. 29

Indianapolis Colts vs New York Giants, 11 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)

The Giants are in position to land the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft. We don’t expect that to change against the Colts.

Prediction: Colts 23, Giants 10

New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills, 11 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)

The Bills are a perfect 7-0 at Highmark Stadium this season. That isn’t going to change against a Jets team that has nothing to play for.

Prediction: Bills 31, Jets 17

Tennessee Titans vs Jacksonville Jaguars, 11 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)

These teams are a combined 6-24 on the season. The Jaguars beat the Titans in an ugly 10-6 game earlier this season. Expect a similar result this week.

Prediction: Jaguars 13, Titans 9

Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles, 11 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)

Jalen Hurts’ status looms large in this game. With him, we think the Eagles can bounce back against a suddenly surging Cowboys team.

Prediction: Eagles 27, Cowboys 21

Las Vegas Raiders vs New Orleans Saints, 11 a.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)

The Raiders ended a 10-game losing streak with their win over the Jaguars in Week 16. Can they actually start a winning streak in Week 17 against a Saints team coming off a short week? Yes, they can.

Prediction: Raiders 21, Saints 15

Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 11 a.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)

The Panthers came close to upsetting several contenders before beating the Cardinals last week. We’re not picking them to upset the Buccaneers, but Bryce Young and company should make it interesting.

Prediction: Buccaneers 30, Panthers 24

Sunday late NFL football game predictions, Dec. 29

Miami Dolphins vs Cleveland Browns, 2:05 p.m., CBS (stream with FUBO)

The Browns just don’t have the offensive firepower to keep up with the Dolphins if Jameis Winston is not their quarterback. The Dolphins will pick up a big win on the road.

Prediction: Dolphins 24, Browns 16

Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings, 2:25 p.m., FOX (stream with FUBO)

The Vikings have won eight straight games and are 13-2 on the season. Sam Darnold is on a roll. That will continue with a thrilling win against the Packers.

Prediction: Vikings 24, Packers 23

Sunday Night Football prediction, Dec. 29

Atlanta Falcons vs Washington Commanders, 6:20 p.m., NBC (stream with Peacock)

The Falcons are battling the Buccaneers for the NFC South title, making this game pivotal for their chances to win the division. The Commanders are tough to beat at home, however.

Prediction: Commanders 24, Falcons 17

Monday Night Football prediction, Dec. 30

Detroit Lions vs San Francisco 49ers, 6:15 p.m., ABC, ESPN, ESPN+ (stream with FUBO)

Every NFL team has injuries, but both of these teams seem to have more than their fair share. The Lions have been able to deal with them better, however, and we don’t expect that to change this week.

Prediction: Lions 30, 49ers 21
