Utah has won two straight games including a 5-2 victory over the Jets in their last outing. They just completed a long seven-game homestand at 3-4-0 before traveling to Minnesota to take on the Wild tonight.

Minnesota was victorious on Monday with a 3-1 win over the Avalanche in Colorado. Monday’s victory snapped a three-game losing streak for the Wild who have been up and down in their last ten games with a record of 6-4-0. This is the third of four meetings between these clubs this season with each team winning on the road in their first two matchups.

Players To Watch:
Utah Hockey Club
Logan Cooley has goals in four straight games and six goals and nine points in January. The 20-year-old center is having a breakout season as he’s second on the Hockey Club in scoring with 42 points (in 46 games) only two points off his career-high of 44 points in his rookie season.
Minnesota Wild
Kirill Kaprizov will return to the lineup tonight for the Wild for the first time since December 23. The Wild have managed to stay afloat without their superstar winger going 7-5-0 in his absence. Kaprizov will give a huge boost to the entire team but especially to a power play that misses his creativity and playmaking ability.
