It has been a fairly solid April for Notre Dame recruiting, as they have added defensive ends Ebenezer Ewetade and Rodney Dunham, offensive tackle Gregory Patrick, wide receiver Bubba Frazier and safety Ayden Pouncey.
The class now is almost half full, with 12 total commitments and ranking as the No. 3 overall class according to the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings. This 2026 group feels different than years previous, as the Irish hold one of top average commit rankings in the country.
Even with the success, the job is not done, as there will be more twists and turns, as there always is with recruiting. Find out below the latest on multiple prospects that Notre Dame is focused on.
(Note: All rankings are according to the 247Sports Composite and prospects are in the 2026 class unless otherwise noted.)
Caden Harris commits to Vanderbilt
It wasn’t meant to be for Notre Dame and Harris, who on Tuesday afternoon opted to join Clark Lea’s Commodores. He picked Vandy over Georgia, Auburn and the Irish, giving them a top-100 commit.
Offer out to 2027 linebacker Max Brown
The 6-foot, 1-inch and 214-pound Georgia native isn’t ranked as a linebacker, but as an athlete, checking in as the No. 175 player in his class. Notre Dame has had some success recruiting the Peach State, and they will once again try their luck with Brown.
Edge Dre Quinn trims his list to six
Another Georgia prospect that Notre Dame is after in Quinn cut his list down to six school on Tuesday. He’s a great fit for a pass rusher at 6-foot, 4-inches and 228-pounds. Quinn has set a an official visit to South Bend starting on June 3rd, as the nation’s No. 259 prospect starts to narrow in on his decision.
Offer to defensive 2027 athlete Rion Jackson
This is one of my favorite recent offers, as Jackson can play either outside linebacker or edge rusher. At 6-foot, 4-inches and 215-pounds, he has the frame to do either, and it’s up to whoever lands him to decide where he fits best. The Maryland native is ranked as the No. 300 overall player in his class.
Offer out to 2027 linebacker Jake Godfree
The Irish continue to hit Georgia hard, as the offer to Godfree shows. The 6-foot, and 200-pound linebacker has started to reel in some pretty big offers, with the latest from Notre Dame. Godfree is the No. 355 overall prospect in his class.
Offer to 2027 defensive back Tavares Harrington
Notre Dame has been keeping a watchful eye on Chicago’s Mount Carmel program, as they have already offered a number of Harrington’s teammates. At 6-foot, 3-inches and 175-pounds, he’s the long and lean corner they often covet. He’s ranked as the nation’s No. 171 overall player.
