Ohio State football ‘Student Appreciation Day’ sights and sounds

Saturday was the annual “Student Appreciation Day” for the Ohio State football program. It’s a tradition Urban Meyer and continued by Ryan Day before being put on pause by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was reinstated in 2022, and we just witnessed the latest iteration of the event on Saturday at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.

With students and fans still basking in the glow of a College Football Playoff national championship, the energy in the building was evident with a throng of students there to take in a scrimmage, photo opportunities, and more, and thanks to the Ohio State Football “X” account and the social media posts of others, we got a pretty good look at some of the best moments of the shindig on Saturday.

We took some of the best posts and put them into a little scrolling story for you to get a look at some of the best sights and sounds of the Ohio State football “Student Appreciation Day.” From some of the best plays of the scrimmage, to some visits from recruits, and more, here’s how things looked on the banks of the Olentangy during this spring football event.
