The Blue Hose secured 29 wins, including an 18-6 record in league play. Under O’Neil’s leadership, seven Blue Hose players earned a total of 10 Big South postseason accolades. These included Joel Dragoo being named Big South Player of the Year, Daniel Eagen earning Big South Pitcher of the Year, and four players receiving First Team All-Big South honors.

Since joining Presbyterian, O’Neil has been instrumental in the program’s success, helping the team amass 126 victories, with 73 against Big South opponents. Over his tenure, he has coached 20 student-athletes to postseason honors, including five First Team selections, 10 Second Team honorees, four Honorable Mentions, and one All-Freshman Team member.

In 2021, O’Neil helped lead the Blue Hose to their first Big South Championship title, which earned the program its first-ever berth in the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

Coach O’Neil’s first year with Presbyterian College in 2019 marked the program’s second 30-win campaign during the Division I era.

“I thank The Lord for guiding my journey to Presbyterian College six-plus years ago.” Said O’Neil. “I have been truly blessed to work under Coach Pollock and grow from him as a person and as a coach. PC is a special place to me and so many others. It has been an unbelievable ride thus far, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Blue Hose baseball and our student-athletes.”
