Should he remain at UO through June 2026, Wasikowski will receive a $100,000 retention bonus. If he stays at UO through the life of the new contract and leads the Ducks to at least two NCAA Regional appearances and at least one Super Regional during the five years, Wasikowski will receive a $75,000 retention bonus.

His performance bonuses are $15,000 for a second place regular season finish in the Big Ten or second place in the conference tournament and $25,000 for a first place finish in the regular season or winning the conference tournament. Winning both the regular season and conference tournament titles would be worth another $25,000, for a maximum total of $75,000.

An NCAA Regional appearance is worth $30,000, with $50,000 each for a Super Regional appearance, College World Series appearance and College World Series championship series appearance. Winning the CWS is worth $250,000, for a total of $430,000 in maximum NCAA Tournament incentives.

Wasikowski’s buyout to leave UO increased to $600,000 before the end of June 2025, with the amount dropping to $400,000, $200,000, $100,000 and $50,000 in each successive year.

Oregon has gone 164-90 in six seasons under Wasikowski with four straight NCAA Regional appearances and back-to-back Super Regional appearances.
