Questions – asking them and answering them – are part of everyday life as a columnist or reporter. Following are some questions about Auburn football and basketball and my attempt at answers.
What can be done about college football and basketball players putting money ahead of loyalty?
The easy answer is one word. Nothing. But it’s not nearly that simple. I really don’t believe it is a question of loyalty. I worked for five different newspapers in Alabama, two of them twice. I was loyal to every one of them. That didn’t mean I was unwilling to leave for a situation that was better for my family and me.
