CLEVELAND, Ohio — Jensen Lewis, who has been a regular part of Cleveland’s TV baseball broadcasts for more than a decade, will not be back this season. Lewis has been hired as a co-host by Vegas Stats and Information Network (VSiN) in Las Vegas. VSiN is an American sports betting radio network and streaming television channel.
“I’ll be the co-host on their show during the week,” said Lewis. “I’ll be doing all sports. I’ve already done three or four shows and have talked more football than at anytime in my career.”
Lewis pitched parts of four seasons with the Indians from 2007-10 after Cleveland drafted him in the third round out of Vanderbilt in 2005. He started doing the pre and postgame shows for the Indians in 2013 before joining the broadcasts full time in 2015.
“This was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, and I’m really excited about it,” said Lewis. “I’ll probably do most of the shows remotely from here, but I’ll go to Las Vegas for a handful of shows.”
Lewis will continue to appear on MLB Network Radio and is hoping to expand his role as a college baseball analyst for ESPN.

The Guards are expected to announce the details of the agreement near the opening of spring training. Cleveland pitchers and catchers report to Goodyear, Arizona, on Feb. 11.
Play-by-play man Matt Underwood, analyst Rick Manning and reporter Andre Knott are expected to return for the Guardians this year.
The Guardians open the Cactus League season on Feb. 22 against the Reds. They open the regular season March 27 against Kansas City at Kauffman Stadium.
