The 2025 NFL draft is about four months away and most believe Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter will each land somewhere in the top six.
With the first 18 picks of the NFL draft now set, Pro Football Focus released an updated mock earlier this week, and the two Buffs stars were off the board following the third pick. Hunter was selected second overall by the Cleveland Browns and Sanders went No. 3 to the New York Giants.
Here’s what PFF’s Trevor Sikkema wrote on the Giants selecting Sanders:
Truth be told, I am not at all convinced a quarterback will be drafted in the top five this year. But until free agency proves otherwise, the Giants are so desperate for a quarterback that it would feel disingenuous not to award them one here.
Miami quarterback Cam Ward was the top overall pick in PFF’s latest mock draft, landing with the Tennessee Titans.
The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from April 24-26.
