WEST LAFAYETTE − A significant piece of Purdue football‘s offense is reportedly in the transfer portal.

Jaden Ball spent the spring working as the right tackle with Purdue’s second team, backing up Bakyne Coly.

Multiple recruiting site outlets are reporting Ball is in the transfer portal and has visits scheduled with Ohio State, Syracuse and Minnesota.

Ohio State assistant offensive line coach Marcus Johnson recruited Ball to Purdue and Ball redshirted as a true freshman in 2024.

Ball came to Purdue as a three-star prospect from Carroll, Ohio and had power conference offers from Duke and Kentucky along with Purdue. He is the sixth Purdue offensive lineman to enter the transfer portal since the conclusion of the spring season last Saturday. The Boilermakers added offensive linemen Bradyn Joiner and Jude McCoskey this week from the transfer portal.
