The Las Vegas Raiders signed veteran wide receiver Terrace Marshall as a free agent recently.
Let’s take a closer look at Marshall:
Size:
6-2, 200 pounds.
NFL experience:
He was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the second round (No. 59 overall) in 2021 out of LSU. He has played in 36 NFL games with 16 starts. Marshall had 64 career catches for 767 yards (12.0 per catch average) and one touchdown in his career. He had a career-high 28 receptions for 490 yards (17.5 per yard average) in 2022. Marshall, 24, was waived by the Panthers in August. He signed with the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad in August, but was waived last week. He had a tryout with the New Orleans Saints this week, before signing with the Raiders’ practice squad,
College:
He went to LSU.
How he will fit in with Raiders:
The Raiders aren’t deep at wide receiver after the Davante Adams trade. There is a chance Marshall could be given a chance to stick on the 53-man roster if he quickly impresses the coaching staff in practices.
