Rankings Risers: JJ Andrews, Vaughn Karvala, Bryson Howard surge in the national class of 2026

Last week, 247Sports introduced our new rankings risers series, where we published micro updates to our rankings that highlighted specific players who made it clear a significant jump was warranted. These updates and “rankings risers” occur between our typical major rankings updates, which will continue to happen a few times per year.

Updating the ranking of a few players delivers a more accurate ranking and provides a better picture of where those prospects stand amongst their peers

While these risers will be published immediately, they will still come only after the same level of thoroughness that 247Sports’ rankings have become known for. In other words, we’re not going to be reactive to one weekend, but ensure we’ve seen repeated evidence that a significant jump is warranted.
