The Red Sox and the Orioles will play the finale of their four-game series Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park.
After making his MLB debut Saturday evening, Marcelo Mayer will stay in Boston’s lineup for the matinee matchup. Mayer will stick at third and preserve the sixth spot in the batting order, but he was one of the few lineup mainstays coming off the 2-1 loss to Baltimore.
Wilyer Abreu, Abraham Toro, David Hamilton and Narváez all will be back in the starting nine after spending most of Saturday night on the bench. They will all be at their typical positions and order spots besides Narváez, who will bat cleanup for the final game of the homestand. Prior to the start of this series, the rookie catcher hadn’t hit higher than seventh in Boston’s order.
The pitching matchup will feature a battle of right-handers, as Walker Buehler will go toe-to-toe with Dean Kremer.
Here are the full lineups for Sunday’s Red Sox-Orioles game, which will have full coverage on NESN beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET.
