Florida State’s Jamie Arnold is competing with Doyle to be the first pitcher taken off the board.
Arnold went second to the Los Angeles Angels in McDaniel’s recent mock and he’s the No. 3 prospect on Law’s big board.
The Florida State lefty has a 20-10 career record across three seasons with the Seminoles.
He posted a 3.04 ERA and opposing hitters had a .207 batting average against him in the regular season.
Like Doyle, Arnold will pitch at home in the regional round and should have two more starts left, at minimum, in his collegiate career, as long as FSU controls its home-field advantage.
